Welcome to Energy Intelligence support. This page covers the most common questions and how to get help if you need it.

What is Energy Intelligence?

Energy Intelligence helps you scan rooms in your home or building using your iPhone's LiDAR sensor and identify appliances that consume energy. The resulting 3D model and appliance list can be exported to your Energy Intelligence dashboard to track and improve energy efficiency.

Getting Started

  1. Open the app and tap Scan to begin a new room scan.
  2. Slowly walk around the room, keeping the camera pointed at walls, floors, and appliances. The app will build a 3D model in real time.
  3. When the scan is complete, you'll see detected appliances and a 3D model.
  4. To save scans to your dashboard, sign in with Apple or Google in the Export view.

System Requirements

  • iPhone with LiDAR sensor (iPhone 12 Pro or later, iPhone 13 Pro and later, iPhone 14 Pro and later, iPhone 15 Pro and later, iPhone 16 Pro and later)
  • iOS 26.2 or later
  • Sufficient lighting in the room being scanned

Frequently Asked Questions

I get an error that my device doesn't support scanning.

Energy Intelligence requires the LiDAR sensor, which is only available on Pro models of iPhone (12 Pro and later) and recent iPad Pro models.

My scan looks incomplete or has gaps.

Move slowly and ensure good lighting. Keep the camera 1–3 meters from surfaces. Cover each wall and corner with a slow sweep.

How do I sign in?

Tap Export on any completed scan. You'll be prompted to sign in with Apple or Google.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Open Settings within the app and tap "Clear All Data" to remove all local scans. To delete your account and all data on our servers, email support at the address below.

Is my room data private?

Yes. See our Privacy Policy. Camera frames are processed on-device and never uploaded.

How do I sign out?

Open Settings within the app and tap "Sign Out".

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Email us at the address below with your iPhone model, iOS version, and a description of what happened.
